the prices of medical and health insuranceThe possibility of creating niche products makes it difficult to compare prices of health insurance among some health insurers and others. In general, each applied medical insurance policies similar price, but never the same. In any case, as we have indicated, it should assess the needs of each policy to see what suits us better.

The medical insurance
costs are calculated according to three basic criteria: age, sex of the insured and the province in which this resides.

Regarding medical insurance rates and age, the Cabinet approved last November that insurers may not charge, from 2009, an amount higher than women on grounds of cost and risks of pregnancy and childbirth, or may not differentiate in the benefits they provide to both. According to the calculations of the executive, a woman between 30 and 35 years could expect to pay each month by 46% more for their health insurance than a man of the same age.
