An ambitious, hardworking and very able man, scientist Professor Adel Budagher has already achieved a considerable amount of success in his career as a mechanical engineer with management responsibilities. He has not only applied himself to studies and research, but has also held managerial positions with several firms in Bahrain. He is also a member of several engineering and scientific associations.

With Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bahrain in 1987 and his Ph.D. from the University of California in 1989 and Trinity International University Delaware USA in 2003.also Doctor of Science in Electrical Systems in Electro – Mechanical Engineering. Prof. Budagher has earned several awards at the institutions from which he received his education. Besides his engineering qualifications, his academic credentials range from business management to motor cycle repair and an author of 11 books published in Kingdom of Bahrain.

His professional experience exposed him to several areas of the business management. During the course of his employment with the organizations that he was associated with, he had developed his entrepreneurial skills and also had the opportunity to carry out research to further his academic pursuits.

During his 19 years of study, Prof. Budagher had conducted a wide range of research. His publications have contributed to studies on vibration mechanisms, control and system dynamics. He has also been recognized for his work on vehicle dynamics, stimulations and stability, and, several other concepts and theories. His work has been published in newspapers and journals in the Middle East and around the world. In this year 2004 he is appointed as External Examiner & Valuator the board of Regents of Trinity International University in Kingdom of Bahrain.

He has received awards for his research on two types diesel engines, carried out for Bahrain Bulk Trade Company. In addition he has also received award for the preparation of a handbook on Elevators and Escalators for Elevator World Inc., USA. And for his book which deals with the different models of cars, research on the safety of building for Horizon Contracting, and research on steel and aluminum production.

Prof. Budagher is listed in Who's Who in the world, International Who's who, Who's who in Science and Engineering, and, 2000 outstanding people of the 20th century. In addition, Prof. Budagher is a Life Fellow of the Biographical Association and American Biographical Institute, who also selected him as International Man of the Year for 1997 and appointed him an International advisor.

Prof. Budagher's interests are reading, gymnastics, and Karate. He also holds a 5th Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and is an instructor of the art in the State of Bahrain. He is aspiring to obtain the 6th Dan. He got his certificates under WORLD COMBAT FEDERATION, TAYLORS KEMPO KARATE STUDIO. And in 1998 WORLD COMBAT FEDERATION awarded him as an Official Bahrain State Director. He got his Bachelor of Martial Arts Philosophy in American Martial Arts University under Liberal Arts College in 1993.
