Primary Health Services for Women in the Martha Eliot Health Center is provided by nurse specialists and registered obstetric nurses whose main goal is to prevent development of mental health problems and provide assistance to women to develop and maintain healthy habits .
Devotes a section of each visit to the training and stimulation of our patients to participate in decisions about your care.

The services provided include:

* Annual examinations and regular gynecological services
* Examination of cervix and breast, and mammograms for women who are uninsured and insurance coverage is not enough
* Treatment of problems of health care without serious complications
* Family Planning
* Prenatal care and specialized services in gynecology, including colposcopy
* Prenatal Classes in English and Spanish
* Home visits to women at high risk and first-time parents of teenagers
* Testing anonymous and confidential HIV counseling and
* Care of Women in the form before and after menopause
* Referrals to other services of health care (mental health, optometry) and specialized services offered at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Our team of nurse practitioners and registered obstetric nurses works closely with gynecologists and internal medicine specialists to ensure the best care to our patients and assessing the physical, psychological and social, and develop plans for comprehensive health care.
